If 30 days have passed since the ticket was issued and you have not notified our office of the option you wish to select, you must submit $23.00 (this includes a $16.00 late fee and a $7.00 compliance letter fee) when you notify the Clerk of the option you have selected.

Once your ticket is late, regardless of the option you select, the above fees are required and are in addition to all other required fees.

The late fee may be paid either in person, by mail or by phone at 561-355-2994.  See a list of available locations.

In addition to paying the late fee of $23.00, you must select one of these four options:

If your license is suspended for an unresolved ticket, you must also pay a $60 reinstatement fee before your license will be cleared.

If your case has been referred to a collection agency, it may be paid at any of our court locations or directly to the agency assigned to your case. Cases must be paid in full including the collection agency fee.

Please select the link to the collection agency assigned to your case to make your online payment. You may also contact the agency at the phone number listed below. These collection agencies will accept payments for traffic ticket cases and other case types that are in collections that have been assigned to them.

If you do not know the collection agency that your case was referred to, please contact the Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller's customer call center at (561) 355-2994 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Due to an issue with updating state driving records, there may be a lag time between the time you paid your fines and when they appear as “cleared” in our system. Please keep a copy of your receipt and certificate of compliance issued in your name with you in case you need to provide proof of payment and compliance.
