Are you still receiving service of orders in a case in which you are no longer an attorney of record? Service lists are generated from multiple sources so if you are no longer the attorney of record, the service address must be removed from all sources. You will need to be removed from each of the sources shown below.

Clerk’s Showcase System

The following is required to remove an attorney from the Clerk’s Showcase Case Maintenance System:

  1. Order of Withdrawal/Substitution as required by Rule of General Practice and Judicial Administration 2.505 and Fifteenth Circuit Administrative Order 2.311 and which includes the Florida Bar Number of withdrawing attorney(s). Note: Law firms cannot be added or removed – only attorneys, based upon the Florida Bar Number, are added to our case management system.
  2. Notice of Change of Attorney as permitted by Fifteenth Circuit Administrative Order 2.311 and Rule 2.505 and which includes bar number(s) of attorneys. Law firms cannot be removed – only attorneys based upon the Florida Bar Number.

If one of the above documents is already filed with our office and you are still listed as the attorney of record, please email the appropriate department as shown below for assistance:

Florida Courts eFiling Portal (ePortal)

Access the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal at: myflcourtaccess.com.

  1. Cases in which you have filed a document: You must access your case and remove yourself from the E-Portal Service List.
  2. Cases in which another party has added you to the Service List: If another party added you, you would have received an email notification. In this email there would have been an “opt out” request. Alternatively, you can check to see if you have been added to an e-service list by going to the “My Cases” page in your E-portal account. In the Search Options selection box (located at the bottom in the left hand column) look for “Added as Other Attorney/Interested party”. Check the box and do a search. Cases in which you have been added to the e-service list as an “Other Attorney/Interested Party” will appear. You will then have the option to remove yourself from the e-service list.

Court

You may have been added to the service list by the Court. If you have followed the instructions for the Clerk’s Showcase System AND the E-Portal and are still receiving Court Orders, please email CAD-WEB@pbcgov.org to see if the Court added you to a specific case.
